Refund Policy
We want you to be happy with MyTenancyFile. This Refund Policy explains when you can request a refund and how to do so. It applies to purchases of the MyTenancyFile Pro subscription and any one-off paid reports.
1. 14-day money-back guarantee
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the original order date (or the most recent renewal date, for subscription renewals). No reason is required.
2. The Free Plan
The MyTenancyFile Free Plan does not involve any payment, so this Refund Policy does not apply to Free Plan users. Free Plan users are not affected by anything in this document.
3. How to request a refund
Our payments are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. To request a refund you can either:
- Visit paddle.net and look up your order using the email address you used at checkout, or
- Email us at support@mytenancyfile.co.uk with your order number or the email address used at purchase, and we will arrange the refund with Paddle on your behalf.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
4. After a refund
When a refund is issued for a Pro subscription, your Pro access ends immediately and your account reverts to the Free Plan. Any PDF reports already downloaded remain yours to keep.
5. Cancellations vs refunds
Cancelling your subscription stops future renewals but does not, by itself, refund your most recent payment. If you want both, please cancel and request a refund within the 14-day window above. See our Terms and Conditions for full cancellation details.
6. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including any right of cancellation for digital services under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
